About me
My name is Věra Manová and I am a mother of five young children. I create mosaics mainly in the evenings, when the children are asleep and I find a quiet moment for myself. I make each mosaic by hand, stone by stone, using the indirect method.
I most enjoy creating portraits from photographs, but I am also happy to make any other motif according to your wishes. I am especially drawn to antiquity and Roman style, which I often return to in my work. I enjoy turning a photograph, a memory or an idea into an original mosaic made of stone.
